Referee

Lori McCormick
My name is Lori McCormick and I own a small Aviary in Ontario Canada.
My great love for birds started when I was very young. While growing up I had Budgies and Cockatiels for pets.
A few years ago my Husband brought home a pair of Budgies and that started my bird explosion.
Today I have 80 something birds from Finches to Cockatoos. Most of our larger birds are rescues and re-homes that are not in our breeding program. These birds are dropped off because people don't have the time for them, they develop bad habits or they are just not wanted. We take them in and give them the best care we can from the proceeds from our bird sales.
I'm also owned by a German Shepherd, an English Mastiff, 3 Cats, Rabbits, a Guinea Pig, Fish, a Turtle, 6 kids from 7 to 26 and one very understanding Husband.
I can honestly say that keeping birds is a lot of hard work and time consuming but it is very rewarding and a great hobby.
